How many sales do you need to reach your goal?
Big ambition, meet a clear plan. Turn your profit goal into the sales, traffic and budget you need to make it happen.
Your goal. A clear sales plan.
Start with the example. Make it yours.
Use the same month for your goal and costs. Changing period relabels; it does not convert inputs. Use consistent tax-exclusive amounts. Currency changes formatting, not exchange rates. Inputs reset when you leave or reload this page.
Sales to reach your goal
for your month
Paid share is a share of visitors. Paid and organic visitors use the same conversion rate. Ad spend uses unrounded expected traffic; displayed visitors round up. Fees are added separately: exclude them from variable costs to avoid double counting. Daily pace rounds up; it may exceed the period target if achieved every selling day.
Compare conservative, realistic & optimistic scenarios Optional
“Realistic” uses your current assumptions, not a forecast. The other scenarios adjust conversion and CPC; your goal, prices, costs and paid traffic share stay the same. Nothing is saved.
Conservative: conversion falls and CPC rises by this percentage. Optimistic: conversion rises (capped at 100%) and CPC falls.

From a profit goal to a daily sales target
Subtract variable costs, transaction fees and expected acquisition costs from the selling price. Divide your profit goal plus fixed costs by that contribution, then round up to a whole sale. Divide the result by your selling days for a daily average. Non-positive contribution cannot fund a positive profit goal.
